Company stands out as a leader in innovation in the education sector, driving the transformation of learning through AI and emerging technologies

Vitru Educação, through its brands UNIASSELVI and UniCesumar, was recognized as one of the most innovative companies in the education sector in the 11th edition of the Valor Inovação Brasil Award 2025. The result was announced yesterday, August 19, in São Paulo. This is the second time the company has ranked among the top 3 in the category. CEO William Matos, Vice President of Technology and Innovation Paula Rodrigues, and Director of Innovation Alessandra Reis represented Vitru at the award ceremony.

Organized by Strategy& – PwC’s strategic consulting firm – and the newspaper Valor Econômico, the award has become a national benchmark in innovation by carrying out a thorough evaluation of innovative practices among companies operating in Brazil across 25 economic sectors. The result is a ranking of corporations that embed constant creative and technical development processes at the core of their strategies, plans, and goals. The award highlights the top 5 most innovative organizations per sector and publishes the 150 companies with the best innovation practices in Brazil.

The top 10 companies received the Valor Inovação Brasil trophy, and the 150 most innovative will be featured in the annual “Valor Inovação Brasil” publication released by Valor Econômico. In the education sector, Vitru stands out for adopting new ways of enhancing learning and knowledge delivery through consistent performance, based on four pillars: planning, execution, results, and recognition of innovative practices and initiatives.
